Museum At Night - After Dark At The Grottoes
About
An after-dark Halloween evening at Kingswood Heritage Museum with costumed characters, spooky local legends and a rare chance to explore the 18th-century grottoes at night.
Kingswood Heritage Museum opens in the evening for a special Halloween event, with atmospheric and fairy lighting transforming its historic buildings and galleries. Costumed historical characters around the site bring Kingswood's stories to life, alongside strange and spooky tales from local history. For the first time, William Champion's 18th-century grottoes will be open after dark; visitors can explore them if they dare, with torches and sturdy footwear advised, or stay in the museum instead. It's a drop-in format running 6pm–9pm, aimed at families, history lovers and Halloween fans.
