Writing Motherhood

A two-hour writing workshop exploring experiences of mothering and being mothered, open to writers of all levels.

This workshop offers a space to write about motherhood and mothering in any genre, drawing on the material that comes from mothering or being mothered. Facilitator Raquel Vogl, an American writer, musician and teacher, guides participants through writing exercises aimed at empowering them as writers and mothers. It is open to anyone who is a mother (self-defined) or wants to write about mothers, from novices to seasoned writers, and runs for two hours. The event is 18+ only, with refreshments and writing materials provided.
