Beekeeping for beginners

A six-week beginner beekeeping course covering the theory of beekeeping, with hands-on practical sessions in April.

This course is aimed at new and aspiring beekeepers, or anyone who simply wants to learn more about honeybees. It runs over six weeks from Tuesday 26 January, with a break for the February half term, and covers the theory of beekeeping in two-hour sessions. Hands-on practical events follow in April. The course is organised by Shirley Cowell at Victory Hall in Broadclyst.
