About
A festive swing evening at WX Wakefield Exchange with a beginner dance taster class from Swing Dance Leeds followed by live swing and Christmas tunes from The Big Easy.
The evening opens with a beginner-friendly swing dance taster class led by tutors from Swing Dance Leeds, starting at 7:15pm after doors at 7pm. From 8pm, live band The Big Easy — vocals, trumpet, sax, guitar, piano, double bass and drums — performs classic swing, New Orleans jazz, jump-jive and festive favourites. The event is for ages 14+, with under-16s accompanied by an adult, and food and drink is available from WX vendors.
