About
A temporary exhibition tracing how play in Beverley changed from open fields, streets and playgrounds to digital technology, with visitors invited to add their own memories.
The exhibition follows the history of play in Beverley, from traditional outdoor play and street games through playgrounds and family festivals to digital play in children’s lives. Visitors can contribute memories of play from their own childhoods and communities. The published run is 7 October 2026 to 5 February 2027; entry is free and no booking is needed.
