About

An Indian classical concert pairing sitar and santoor with tabla at St Saviour's, Pimlico.

A Hundred Strings brings Indian classical music to St Saviour's, Pimlico, with Adnan Khan on sitar and Vinay Desai on santoor, accompanied by Ustad Akram Khan on tabla. Khan plays in the gayaki ang style, shaping the sitar like the singing voice, while Desai strikes the hundred-stringed santoor with light wooden mallets. Doors open at 4:45 PM and the music starts at 5:00 PM. Presented by KalaSudha.
