Foundations for Female Founders: A Confidence Building Workshop Series

A four-week in-person workshop series in Dumfries helping women new to entrepreneurship build confidence, skills and supportive connections.

South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) runs this four-week programme for women at the very start of their business journey, including those who have never attended a business workshop or networking event before. Each two-hour session combines guided reflection, practical activities, peer discussion and guest speaker contributions, covering themes such as mindset, finance, marketing and personal development. The first session on 20 January 2027 runs from 12pm to 2pm at South of Scotland Enterprise on Bankend Road, with further sessions on 27 January, 3 February and 10 February 2027. The aim is a supportive, informal environment where participants can recognise their strengths and step more confidently into entrepreneurship.
