About
A monthly beginner-friendly Dabkeh dance and drumming circle celebrating Levantine culture, open to all aged 10 and above.
Makani Cambridge hosts monthly Dabkeh and drumming circles at the Sports Pavilion on Ring Fort Road. Participants learn the basic steps of Dabkeh, a traditional Levantine group folk dance, and join in drumming Levantine rhythms, with drums provided. The sessions run for 90 minutes and are designed for complete beginners as well as experienced dancers and drummers, with children aged 10 and above welcome.
