Gnod / Smote / The Shits

A Rocket Recordings label showcase at Strange Brew featuring experimental acts Gnod, Smote and The Shits.

Extra Terrestrial Promotions and Velvet Echoes present a showcase of the independent label Rocket Recordings, staged at the Bristol venue Strange Brew. The bill brings together three acts associated with loud, experimental music: Manchester's Gnod, whose live sets are built on trance-inducing repetition and heavy psychedelic noise; Smote, the project of Daniel Foggin, whose meditative, repetition-driven music draws on his work as a landscape gardener; and The Shits. The event runs from 19:00 to 22:00 and is open to ages 18 and over, with under-18s admitted only if accompanied one-to-one by an adult aged 21 or over.
