Big Guitar Weekend
About
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's 20th annual Big Guitar Weekend celebrates the guitar with masterclasses, recitals and concerts by international artists and alumni.
Big Guitar Weekend returns to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for its 20th year, a multi-day festival dedicated to the guitar in all its forms. The programme includes a masterclass and headline concert from internationally acclaimed guitarist Lorenzo Micheli, recitals by rising star Zoe Barnett, and music from Samrat Majumder and Ian Watt. RCS Head of Guitar Allan Neave performs in the Fridays at One concert alongside returning RCS alumni, which also features a specially commissioned new work by composer Jay Capperauld.
