I, Joan

BA Acting students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland perform Charlie Josephine's play I, Joan, a queer retelling of Joan of Arc's story.

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland presents I, Joan, Charlie Josephine's celebrated script reimagining Joan of Arc as a young, poor, gender-defying leader who ignites a rebellion against an endless patriarchal war. Performed by BA Acting students with a contemporary edge, the production is described as a joyous, queer and deeply hopeful celebration of identity and courage. It runs from 3rd to 7th November 2026.
