Romeo and Juliet: GCSE Revision Boost
About
A practical GCSE revision workshop for ages 14–16 exploring Romeo and Juliet through a Globe Theatre visit and drama activities in the rehearsal studios.
This two-hour session for 14–16 year-olds begins with a look inside the Globe Theatre and an introduction to Shakespeare's London and theatrical world. Participants then move to a rehearsal studio for an interactive workshop led by an experienced education practitioner, using acting techniques and drama activities to explore the play's language, characters and themes. The session aims to deepen understanding of the play as a performed text and provide a practical toolkit for study and exams. Young people attend independently, with parents and guardians welcome to use the Globe's food and drink offer meanwhile.
