Autumnal Nature Illustration Workshop

A cosy two-hour autumn illustration workshop at Tea by the Lock in Naburn, trying pencil, pen and paint techniques drawing from nature.

Run by a local artist and illustrator specialising in pen and ink, this two-hour session introduces drawing from nature in pencil and pen, combined with paint 'wash' techniques. The host provides examples of their work as inspiration, gives a demonstration, and brings autumnal natural items such as leaves and berries to draw. A selection of shared art materials is provided, and attendees are welcome to bring their own sketchbooks and brushes. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience wanting to explore line and wash illustration.
