Getting started with AI chatbots

A two-hour beginner-friendly workshop introducing AI chatbots, covering setup, navigation, privacy, limitations and effective questioning.

This in-person course at Stowmarket Innovation Gateway is aimed at people with little or no experience of AI chatbots, including those who feel under-confident. Learners will practise navigating and using common AI chatbots, covering basic settings, privacy considerations, cautions and limitations, plus ethical issues linked to AI use. The session also teaches how to ask clear, effective questions to get useful outputs and build confidence using AI for low-stakes everyday tasks. No prior experience is needed, though participants need to be able to use a web browser and have an email account.
