Hay Festival After Hours: Cardiff

An evening of stories, songs and showbiz featuring Craig Revel Horwood on panto, Bob Stanley on Christmas number ones, and live music from Betsan.

Hay Festival After Hours brings three guests to the Weston Studio for one evening. Craig Revel Horwood discusses the history of pantomime and his twenty years performing in it, drawing on his book The Book of Panto. Bob Stanley, founding member of Saint Etienne, explores seven decades of the British Christmas number one in The Twelve Songs of Christmas, from Slade and the Beatles to Wham!. Welsh singer-songwriter Betsan adds live music, blending indie-folk with jazz and soul influences.
