1945: Through Hell to Victory – Dorchester Library

A touring exhibition from The Keep Military Museum about the end of the Second World War, as experienced by Devon and Dorset people and regiments, at Dorchester Library.

The Keep Military Museum's touring exhibition 1945: Through Hell to Victory tells the story of the end of the Second World War through the experiences of the people and regiments of Devon and Dorset, from Normandy to Kohima. It is being installed at Dorchester Library in October 2026. The exhibition is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Museum Development South West and Arts Council England.
