About

A temporary exhibition from The Keep Military Museum exploring 200 years of British military uniform and its influence on fashion.

This exhibition traces the evolution of British military uniform from 1800 to 2026, from scarlet red coats to modern camouflage, examining how design, materials and style have changed over two centuries. It features original uniforms drawn from public and private collections, revealing how military clothing has influenced high street fashion and everyday wear. The exhibition is hosted at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery and made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
