Family trails in the house and garden invite visitors to explore Welsh folklore and seasonal traditions for Calan Gaeaf.

This family programme has a garden trail featuring Hwch Ddu Gwta and a separate six-room house trail inspired by Welsh myths and legends. Visitor Reception directs visitors to the trails. The official schedule is 10:00–17:00 on 23–25 October and 10:00–16:00 on 26 October–1 November. The activity is free; normal Erddig admission charges apply.
