Half term off-road challenge

A half-term off-road cycling session for young riders aged 5–16, with a grass and woodland timed challenge course at Ackers Adventure.

Beacon Cycling Academy runs an afternoon of bike fun for confident young riders aged five to 16, focusing on skills such as riding over uneven ground and quick mounting and dismounting. Riders can try out a marked grass and/or woodland course between the ABC and the Ski Centre, then optionally race against the clock and improve on their previous best time. MTB and CX bikes are suitable; bikes and helmets are provided, with a borrow-a-bike option available. A parent or carer must be present.
