DIY Animation Club
About
A hands-on community animation club where participants experiment with images, movement and sound using techniques from hand-drawing to stop-motion.
The DIY Animation Club is a community-led gathering at Glasgow Zine Library where people play with images, movement and sound, sharing ideas, tips and skills. No experience is needed — participants experiment with hand-drawing, collage, stop-motion, digital images or other approaches, often using the Stop Motion Studio app on phones or the library's iPads. The two-hour session is for ages 18+, capped at 12 attendees, and grew out of the Secrets of DIY Animation courses held at the library in 2022, 2023 and 2026.
