DesignHer Networking: Peer Mentoring

A peer mentoring and networking session for West Yorkshire women from underrepresented backgrounds working in the creative industries, hosted by design studio Buttercrumble.

DesignHer is a peer-powered network founded by Buttercrumble to support people from underrepresented backgrounds in accessing creative opportunities. This session opens with welcome and refreshments, followed by a short talk on skills and sharing of creative opportunities, then a peer mentoring discussion using the action learning method, where participants work through current challenges together. The event is aimed at West Yorkshire women, including trans and non-binary people, facing barriers such as class, race, disability, gender identity or caring responsibilities.
