SCAMP: Kingholm Quay Walk & Talk with Antoine Lemaire
About
A free guided riverside walk from Kingholm Quay along the Nith with SCAMP's Antoine Lemaire, followed by a community drop-in session about coastal access.
A guided circular walk led by Antoine Lemaire, SCAMP's Coastal Infrastructure Coordinator, following the core path network from Kingholm Quay along the River Nith, with commentary on the area's harbour history and chances of spotting wildlife such as kingfishers and otters. The walk forms part of the SCAMP: Landscape Connections project's coastal access engagement, gathering views on how people use and access the Solway coast. Afterwards a free drop-in session at Kingholm Quay Community Centre offers tea, coffee, maps and more information about the project.
