Fort Augustus Walk-and-Talk
About
A leisurely guided walk around the Fort Augustus canal flight with Scottish Canals' volunteer coordinator, discussing volunteering and community ideas.
Scottish Canals hosts a walk-and-talk around the Fort Augustus flight of locks, led by volunteer coordinator Rebekah. Participants meet at the Caledonian Canal Centre at 1pm, stroll the canal route, and return by around 2pm, with the session running until 2:30pm. The walk is a chance for local people to learn about volunteering opportunities and share ideas for community engagement and practical projects, ending with complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments at the centre. Comfortable walking shoes and a waterproof jacket are recommended.
