Building Bigger: Intermediate Hand Building

An intermediate five-session ceramics course on large-scale hand building with Francisco Zhan.

Participants with previous hand-building experience develop a larger functional or sculptural ceramic project using slab construction, block carving and coiling. The course includes a two-week drying and firing break before the final session; learners are asked to bring sketches or reference images. The studio provides individual guidance and glazing.
