Tamar Bridge Anchorage Tour

A guided behind-the-scenes tour taking visitors inside the Tamar Bridge's anchorage chambers to explore its engineering, history and maintenance.

This exclusive guided tour begins at the Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre before walking out to view the underside of the bridge. Visitors then enter one of the bridge's anchorage chambers, an area normally closed to the public, where the suspension cables are secured. Guides explain the history, design and maintenance of the structure. The tour has a minimum age of 11, under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, spaces are limited and booking is essential.
