Poole Farm: Gnaw and Explore Beaver Tour

A guided evening tour of the beaver enclosure at Poole Farm, exploring how the Plymouth Beaver Project's beavers have transformed the landscape.

Poole Farm hosts a guided beaver tour around the enclosure of the UK's first urban beaver project. Guides lead visitors through the habitat, explaining the story of the beavers' introduction, the conservation work supporting them, and how these ecosystem engineers have changed the surrounding landscape. The session lasts around two hours and takes place mostly outdoors; beavers are wild so sightings aren't guaranteed, though dusk timing offers the best chance. Tours run with a minimum of 5 and maximum of 25 attendees, with a required ratio of one adult per three children.
