Lytham St Annes Shanty Crew – 11th Anniversary Gig

The Lytham St Annes Shanty Crew marks its 11th anniversary with a two-hour concert of traditional sea shanties and self-penned nautical songs.

Formed in 2015 to sing sea shanties and raise money for local charities, the crew has raised over £35,000 for the RNLI and performs a repertoire of traditional shanties alongside self-penned nautical songs from their three CDs. The anniversary gig runs for two hours and is suitable for all ages. In 2026 the group also wrote 'Four Shouts in One Day', commissioned by the RNLI to commemorate its contribution in World War Two.
