Ikebana – Autumn Workshop
About
A beginner-friendly two-hour workshop learning the Japanese art of Ikebana, creating a flower and branch arrangement to take home.
This workshop introduces the ancient Japanese art of Ikebana, using fresh flowers and foliage to create an arrangement focused on forming a shape with branches to enhance the flower. Participants take their arrangement home; all plant materials are provided, but attendees should bring their own secateurs and a container or vase. Suitable for beginners and open to ages 16+, the session runs for 120 minutes and is led by Irene Moore, a First Grade Somu teacher and board member of the London Sogetsu Branch and Ikebana International.
