An after-dark Halloween steam train experience for ages 14+ with live actors, jump scares, spooky storytelling and a licensed onboard bar.

Steam & Screams is an after-dark Halloween train experience on the Swanage Railway for ages 14 and over. Passengers ride through the Purbeck countryside while live actors deliver jump scares and immersive scenes inspired by the darker side of local history, including characters such as Lady Mary Bankes, a shell-shocked soldier, a notorious pirate and a heartbroken Victorian lady. An onboard licensed bar serves Halloween cocktails, local beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, and the ticket also includes unlimited travel on the railway's standard services that day.
