A Halloween half-term event at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway with a spooky dressed-up train ride, pumpkin patch, free carving station and wizard entertainment.

Havenstreet station hosts a spooky half-term takeover from 17 to 31 October 2026, with free entry to the site and Halloween-themed entertainment including a resident magic wizard, giant bubble displays and a craft marquee where children can make broomsticks, wands and spooky cakes. The Halloween Express train ride, a separately ticketed experience, runs on the Green Timetable with an enhanced Red Timetable on 27–29 October, with heritage carriages given a Halloween makeover. A pumpkin patch lets visitors pick their own pumpkins (priced by size) and carve them at a free carving station, and train tickets include a small pumpkin and children's goody bags with an activity sheet and prize competition.
