World of Wine: Australia & New Zealand
About
A two-hour guided wine tasting exploring six-plus wines from New Zealand and Australia, with cheese and charcuterie, at West London Wine School.
This tasting session covers wines from two Southern Hemisphere countries in two parts. The New Zealand section looks at Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris alongside the country's expressions of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The Australia section examines Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Viognier, considering balance and intensity. Each tasting includes a minimum of six locally sourced wines, tasting notes and sheets, professional tasting glasses, and a selection of cheese and charcuterie; the session lasts two hours with doors opening 30 minutes early.
