OFFSHOOT Symposium: Cultivating connections – art, nature and place

A free one-day symposium at the University of Salford exploring cross-sector collaboration between art, nature and place, ending with a drinks reception.

A one-day symposium hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society, University of Salford and Open Eye Gallery, sharing learning from the multi-year OFFSHOOT partnership that embedded artists at RHS Garden Bridgewater. The programme includes three panel discussions on commissioning for place, sustainability and civic engagement, plus facilitated roundtables on wellbeing, collaboration, young people and green-space commissioning. The day closes with a drinks reception at the Yan Wang Preston: Memory Keepers exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
