About
Young engineers aged 7–12 design and build a car to protect an egg, exploring forces, motion and safety through hands-on testing.
This practical workshop asks children to build a car from a range of materials that can protect its passenger—an egg. The session combines design and construction with real-world ideas such as aerodynamics, force and motion. One accompanying adult must remain with each child.
