Little STEAMers: Float My Boat

A hands-on science workshop for young children exploring buoyancy and boat design.

This session is a playful investigation into the science of why some things float while others sink, designed for children aged 3–5. Participants begin by making predictions about objects in a mystery bag before testing their ideas. They then act as boat engineers, designing and testing their own creations to see if they float or tip over, with connections to the Royal Navy.
