The Great Victorian Ghost Hunt

A Victorian-style psychical investigation of Samlesbury Hall using replica 19th-century spirit instruments, running from 8pm to 1am.

Participants take part in a ghost hunt replicating Victorian psychical research methods, using specially commissioned instruments such as a Tuttle Psychograph, Winchester Séance Bell and Kennard Talking Board, with no modern ghost-hunting equipment allowed. The event includes exclusive access to the hall's normally closed cellar and attic, a talk, and hot soup with tea and coffee; investigators receive a certificate on completion. It is open to ages 16 and over, with under-18s accompanied one-to-one by an adult, and runs from 8pm until 1am.
