Toddler Time at Braintree Museum
About
Weekly sensory and educational sessions for children aged 1–4 combine family activities, rotating themes and messy play every other week. Past sessions have used magnifying-glass garden hunts, dinosaur dig boxes and movement games.
The Museum states Toddler Time starts at 10:00 every Friday. Sessions for children aged 1–4 last between 30 minutes and an hour, with families welcome to stay and play longer; no exact session end is published. Activities vary by theme, and every other week is messy play. The Museum says grant funding makes the programme free and recommends booking by phone. This explicit current weekly rule is represented only across the collection window; the Museum’s access statement requests contact about Christmas/New Year hours, so 25 December and 1 January are held and not projected.
