Sonder Winter Gravel Series - Gateshead x GCNE

A self-supported social gravel bike ride from Alpkit Metrocentre with Gravel Crushers North East, followed by soup, cakes and refreshments.

Alpkit's annual Winter Gravel ride, run in partnership with Gravel Crushers North East, sets off from the Metrocentre store at 10am on a roughly 30-35 mile self-supported gravel route lasting 2-4 hours. Riders of all abilities are welcome and ride at their own pace, with a GPX file sent to booked participants beforehand. Afterwards there are cakes, soup and refreshments back at the store, and the £10 entry fee goes to the Alpkit foundation.
