Make Your Own Ceramic Gingerbread House

Build and decorate a ceramic gingerbread house from clay slabs using templates, coloured slips and decorative details.

Build a ceramic gingerbread house by rolling and cutting clay slabs, assembling the pieces and decorating them with coloured slips and candy-like details. The house is fired and glazed for collection before Christmas. The published workshop lasts four hours, though its end may vary slightly. Beginners aged ten and up are welcome; under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets cost £45, with £5 postage available; reduced museum admission may be added separately.
