Spruce up INUF’s Mental Health Community Garden
About
GoodGym Newham volunteers spend an hour weeding, pruning and tidying the community garden at INUF's mental health hub in Stratford.
GoodGym Newham is returning to help the Independent Newham Users' Forum, a user-led mental health charity based at Ithaca House in Stratford. Volunteers will spend around an hour tidying the charity's community garden, which provides a calming space supporting wellbeing, social connection and therapeutic activities. Tasks include weeding beds and borders, clearing leaves, pruning overgrown plants, tidying pathways and preparing planting areas. No experience is needed and tools are provided; participants can either join a 18:45 run from Freaks & Geeks or meet at the task at 19:00.
