Preparing The Emmanuel Church for Christmas Decorations

GoodGym Newham volunteers clean and tidy Emmanuel Parish Church to prepare it for its Christmas decorations, with an optional 2km run to the task.

GoodGym Newham is returning to Emmanuel Parish Church on Romford Road to help Sybil and her team get the building ready for Christmas. The session involves indoor cleaning, arranging and tidying of the church hall so the Christmas decorations can go up; tools are provided, though a head torch may be handy for darker corners, and refreshments may follow. Participants can either meet at the church at 7pm or join a 2km run at chatting pace departing from Freaks and Geeks on West Ham Lane at 6.45pm, via West Ham Park, with a bag drop and back marker. The activity is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
