Fossil Walks
About
Guided fossil-hunting walks on Lyme Regis’s East Beach and Black Ven, exploring Jurassic Coast geology and fossil discoveries.
Museum guides lead fossil-hunting walks on East Beach and Black Ven, explaining Jurassic Coast geology and helping visitors recognise their finds. Tickets include Museum entry. The published 2026 timetable lists the individual departures represented here through 27 December. Meet outside the Museum 10 minutes before departure. Walks last roughly 2.5–3 hours; exact end times are unpublished. Under 6s and visitors needing mobility aids cannot join. The Museum page and booking overview give conflicting standard adult prices, so check the live ticket price before booking.
