Stories We Tell : Rochdale

A guided night-time audio walk through Rochdale using projections and 3D sound to share local people's stories.

Stories We Tell: Rochdale is an outdoor guided audio walk that transforms the town centre after dark with large-scale projections, moving imagery and 3D sound. Starting at Rochdale Station and ending at Rochdale Town Hall, the hour-long route passes sites including Milkstone Road and Rochdale Town Hall Square, animating buildings with stories of belonging, change and hope gathered from local communities. The walk is suitable for all ages, follows a flat route with some road crossings, and volunteers are on hand to support participants.
