Queer Life Drawing – Bayeux Tapestry Edition
About
Queerlife Social's anniversary life-drawing session reimagines the Bayeux Tapestry as a collective queer visual protest at West End Arts Library.
For its 3rd anniversary, Queerlife Social hosts a life-drawing session inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, reimagined as a queer, contemporary call to action on the festival themes of Protest and Propaganda. Artists curate their own poses, costume, music and story while guests draw and respond, building a shared visual tapestry of queer and trans resistance, memory and hope. The session is framed as a space for queer representation rather than anatomy practice, with no experience needed and all materials provided. It runs from 6:00pm to 7:45pm.
