About

Crazy Child Productions stages the Tony Award-winning Hollywood noir musical City of Angels at Oxford Playhouse.

University of Oxford student company Crazy Child Productions presents City of Angels, the 1989 Broadway musical with book by Larry Gelbart, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by David Zippel, directed by Magdalena Lacey-Hughes. The story follows novelist Stine as he adapts his work for the screen, blurring the line between writer and creation in a tale of film noir murder and Hollywood secrets. The show runs across five performances, including a Saturday matinee, driven by Coleman's Tony Award-winning jazz score.
