Imaginary Insects Workshops by Hopeful Monster (for ages 5+)

A free hands-on workshop for ages 5+ where children dress up and invent insect species new to science, inspired by Hopeful Monster's show Six Long Legs.

Hopeful Monster run a free show-inspired workshop for children aged 5+ exploring how insects' body parts are adapted to their environments. Participants move in new ways, discuss insect adaptations, then work in teams to imagine insects entirely new to science. Dressed as new entomologists in costumes made from second-hand objects, children create their own creatures and present their unique features to the group. Places are limited and booking is required.
