Winter Solstice Sunset Stroll

A guided winter solstice sunset walk through the Heart of England Forest at Middle Spernal, with mulled wine, festive refreshments and charity fundraising.

The Heart of England Forest marks the winter solstice with a mulled wine reception followed by an easy-paced, three-hour stroll through the Spernal woodlands led by volunteer co-ordinator Jonathan. Walkers take in a west-facing viewpoint to watch the sunset on the shortest day of the year, looking for signs of winter wildlife, before returning to Middle Spernal Farm for festive refreshments and a hot drink. Ticket proceeds support the charity, with an optional charity ticket including an extra donation.
