Robin Box Building

A festive family workshop at Rutland Water where families build a flat-packed robin nest box to take home for their garden.

Marking National Robin Day, this hands-on woodland workshop invites families to assemble a flat-packed robin nest box in the classroom at the Anglian Water Bird Watching Centre. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm, with materials provided and the finished box taken home to give garden birds a safe winter roost. Suitable for ages 6 and over, with under-18s supervised by an adult, and spaces limited.
