Junior Jelly Cat-inspired Cake - 25 October (Afternoon)

A hands-on cake decorating workshop for junior bakers aged 7-14, making a Jelly Cat-inspired striped buttercream cake with Liz Berwick.

Liz Berwick of Simply Scrumptious leads a hands-on cake decorating session for junior bakers aged 7-14, inspired by Jelly Cat cuddly toys. Each child is given a crumb-coated sponge and learns to colour and pipe buttercream in several shades, smooth the surface into a striped ombré effect, and add piped details, sprinkles, a candle, legs, feet and a grin. Classes are kept small so participants get full attention, and all ingredients, equipment and a cake box are provided.
