Edek's Doodle Chats

A free, relaxed fortnightly social group where people doodle, chat and work on creative activities together to support wellbeing.

Edek's Doodle Chat is a relaxed social group open to everyone, offering a safe space to talk, listen and connect while working on creative activities. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own project — colouring, painting, writing, collage or clay — with materials and inspiration available for those who arrive empty-handed. Sessions are facilitated by local community artist Edek Thompson, who uses his art practice to support his own mental health and wellbeing. The group meets 6:30–8:30pm every other Wednesday; it is free, alcohol-free, and explicitly not a replacement for professional mental health support.
