All of Us Witches
About
An exhibition at Stories of Lynn Museum honouring women executed under the Witchcraft Acts in East Anglia, open daily until 4 November.
All of Us Witches honours the women executed under successive Witchcraft Acts in East Anglia, where at least 60 women were put to death and King's Lynn played a significant role. Displayed in the Archive Room, the exhibition uses documents and artefacts from the King's Lynn archives to show how belief in witchcraft became law and was prosecuted, names some of the women executed in Lynn's Tuesday Marketplace, and considers witchcraft today as a spiritual path and a continuing deadly accusation in parts of the world. It is part of West Norfolk Wyrdfest and is included with normal museum admission.
